A hand-painted Polynesian tunic

This hand-painted Polynesian tunic is made entirely in Moorea, French Polynesia, on soft cotton voile. The patterns are painted directly onto the fabric using special fabric dyes, without stencils or reproductions. Each piece is unique: slight variations may exist from one item to another, in the same spirit as the hand-painted Tahitian pareos that come from the same workshop.

Material & care

• Material: Cotton voile, special fabric dyes
• Washing: Machine wash at 30° maximum
• Spin cycle: Delicate
• Drying: Air dry only, do not tumble dry

The colors visible on your screen may vary slightly depending on your device. The actual blue is deep, bright, and true to the palette of Polynesian lagoons. This tunic is part of a collection of Polynesian women’s clothing, all handmade in Moorea.
