1. Order processing and dispatch

Orders are prepared and shipped from French Polynesia.

Shipping timelines and delivery conditions depend on the selected shipping method, the destination country, logistical constraints related to air and sea connections serving Tahiti and the islands, and any customs procedures in the destination country.

Orders are processed on business days only, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (French Polynesia local time), excluding weekends and public holidays.

2. Deliveries within French Polynesia

For deliveries within Tahiti and the islands of French Polynesia, parcels are handled based on the selected shipping method and the availability of local couriers, boats, and flights serving inter-island routes.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on local constraints (remote islands, rotations, weather conditions, and public holidays).

3. International shipping

International orders are shipped according to the shipping method selected at checkout.

3.1 “Economy Air” shipping

Parcels are handled by postal services and shipped via Fare Rata (the public postal operator of French Polynesia).

Air transport is subject to available capacity and scheduled flights departing from Tahiti.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on destination, season, and possible inspections. As a general reference, delivery is often observed within 3 to 6 weeks for mainland France and certain European destinations, counted from the date the parcel departs Tahiti.

When a tracking number is provided, it enables indicative tracking and may be used to support a postal claim. Tracking is available through Fare Rata’s official website.

3.2 “Priority” shipping

Parcels are handled by international postal services and shipped via Fare Rata by air, subject to available capacity departing from Tahiti.

Carrier rules on maximum weight and dimensions may limit certain shipments. If an order cannot be shipped under the selected service (weight, dimensions, format, destination), an alternative solution may be proposed (service adjustment, dedicated quote, split shipment, or cancellation if no feasible option exists).

As a general reference, delivery is often observed within 2 to 4 weeks for the United States, mainland France, and certain European destinations, counted from the date the parcel departs Tahiti.

When a tracking number is provided, it enables indicative tracking through Fare Rata’s official website and may be used for postal claim management.

3.3 “Express” shipping

Express shipments are handled by international services such as Chronopost (depending on destination and availability).

Flights departing from Tahiti may operate on a variable schedule depending on the period and destination.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on destination, season, and possible inspections. As a general reference, delivery is often observed within 10 to 15 days for mainland France and certain European destinations, counted from the date the parcel departs Tahiti.

When this shipping method is selected, tracking is generally available via the carrier’s website.

4. Special cases – specialized logistics partners

Certain specific products may be shipped through specialized logistics partners using international carriers (for example TNT, or an equivalent carrier depending on availability).

In such cases, tracking and delivery timelines vary depending on the carrier. Any available tracking information (tracking number, tracking link) is shared when provided by the carrier.

5. Important information about timelines and tracking

All delivery timelines displayed on the website, at checkout, or on this page are provided as estimates only. They may vary depending on the time of year, public holidays, weather conditions, air capacity constraints, customs clearance, or carrier disruptions.

Carrier tracking may be incomplete, delayed, or updated with a lag, especially on certain international routes. A temporary absence of tracking events or an imprecise tracking status does not, by itself, prove non-delivery.

In case of an issue, the reference remains the carrier tracking information and, where available, the associated proof of delivery as described in “Shipping and delivery from French Polynesia.”

6. Order processing hours

Orders are processed, prepared, and shipped on business days only, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (French Polynesia local time).

Any order placed outside these hours – including evenings, weekends, after 6:00 PM on a Friday, or on the eve of a public holiday – will be processed starting the next business day.

Preparation and shipping timelines start only from the effective date the order is taken in charge by Ventanou.
