Tiare and red berries on the lagoon water
The pattern is painted with a special clothing paint that is resistant to washing. The artisan has worked the veins of the leaves with a fine brush, creating a visual relief on the flat fabric. The petals of the tiare flowers are placed with calculated lightness, and the two red berries anchor the composition at the bottom, like two fruits fallen from a shrub leaning over the water.
This Tahitian pareo, Tiare Moana Nui, created in Moorea, French Polynesia, is a unique piece. The slight variations between each piece are the mark of the artisan’s brush, never identical twice.
Those who like to extend this universe with a discreet piece of jewelry will find in a black pearl bracelet from Bora Bora a natural echo of this Pacific blue.

How to wear your Polynesian pareo
The cotton veil is transparent, so it should always be worn with something underneath, such as a swimsuit, bikini, or shorts, depending on how you plan to wear it. Tied at the waist on the beach or by the pool, it transitions from one setting to another with equal ease.
Be careful with chlorine: rinse quickly with clean water after swimming in the pool to preserve the painted colors.
At home, this turquoise veil also works as a light summer piece, tied over the shoulder as a flowing dress or worn as a shawl on warm evenings. The moana nui background and tiare motifs work just as well in the sun as they do in a bright interior.
