This Tahitian pareo is not built around a central pattern. The design starts at the bottom and rises upward in an asymmetrical flow, like a growing stem. Purple orchids open along the fabric, guided by green leaves. Laid flat, the motif remains subtle. Worn high, it follows the body and becomes fully visible.
Each piece is hand-painted directly onto lightweight cotton using a brush, with multiple layers to control color intensity. The contrast between purple orchids and coral red requires precision to keep the design sharp and defined.
