Water-based Gutta paint: a traditional technique

The colors are created using a handcrafted technique with water-based Gutta paint, a thick acrylic paint used as a resist for silk painting. It forms a waterproof barrier that defines each color area, is applied with a fine tip, dries quickly, and is then heat-set with an iron.

Care instructions

Machine wash at 86°F maximum. Air dry recommended, preferably in the shade to preserve color intensity. A first rinse in the ocean can help stabilize the pigments before the first washes.

Styling suggestion

Because cotton voile is naturally lightweight and slightly sheer, this set looks best layered over a swimsuit or worn with a simple, discreet top underneath.
