Piton de la Fournaise is an explosive volcano on Reunion Island, distinguished by its regular eruptions, making it one of the most reliable in the southern hemisphere. It is also famous for being the most active volcano in the last 20 years. The volcano dominates the southern plain of Reunion Island, reaching a height of 2,632 metres. It's a sight to behold.

If you love hiking and nature, this is the hike for you! We'll be exploring one of Reunion's most beautiful landscapes with the Piton des Neiges, a volcano that overlooks the island. This popular hike is off the beaten track, as we'll be walking off the beaten path to discover hidden gems.

Adrenalin and adventure seekers, you'll discover an extraordinary landscape here, and be able to see for miles around before reaching the volcano's summit. Once there, you can admire the Dolomieu crater and the Bory crater, one of the two volcanic craters that collapsed during the 2007 eruption.
