- The Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Watch SE, and Apple Watch Series 3 are water resistant to 50 meters (164 feet) in accordance with ISO 22810:2010. They can be used for shallow water activities such as swimming in a pool or open water. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, water skiing or other activities involving fast currents or deep immersion. The Series 7 has also been rated IP6x for dust protection.
- The measurements provided by the Blood Oxygen app are not intended for medical use, including for self-diagnosis or in medical consultation, and are for fitness and general wellness purposes only.
- The ECG app and arrhythmia notifications require the latest versions of watchOS and iOS, and are not intended for anyone under 22. The ECG app is available on the Apple Watch Series 4 and later models (except the Apple Watch SE). Arrhythmia notifications are not intended for people with atrial fibrillation (AF).
- The Apple Watch Series 7 (GPS + Cellular) and Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) can use the cellular connection for the Emergency Call feature. For Emergency Call to work on an Apple Watch without a cellular connection, your iPhone must be nearby. If your iPhone is not nearby, your Apple Watch must be connected to a known Wi-Fi network and you must enable Wi-Fi calling.
